Allegany State Park Bridle trails, 3 lakes, picnic areas, hiking trails, boating with launching facilities, beaches, bird-watching, tennis courts, rollerblading, snowmobiling, snow showing, cross country skiing, fishing, ice fishing, museum. (10 miles) 

Antiques:  Green Gables Antiques (1 mile), Salamanca Antiques Mall (3 miles) plus others.

Sequoia Indian Reservation:  See there website for a variety of year-round activities, plus the new Seneca Allegany Casino.  Located in the town of Salamanca (5 miles)

Golfing:  Little Valley, Holiday Valley Golf Resort

Horseback riding: If you are vacationing with your own horse, be sure to check out the area trails.

Ellicottville:  Spend the day shopping in the unique shops, have lunch at one of several restaurants in the heart of Ellicottville's quaint downtown.

Lake Chautauqua:  boat and jet ski rentals, beaches, fishing, water-side restaurants & bars (35 minutes)

Little Rock City:  Little Rock City is just a few miles, but takes 15 minutes from the house up to the top of the mountains.  These rock formations will leave you breathless! If you like these, then you'll also love Panama Rocks (45 minutes east on Rt. 86).  Neither have sites, but Google will give you plenty of information.

Chautauqua Institute:  Chautauqua is many things—a place, an annual gathering, and a worldwide community, open to all. Chautauquans come together every summer to learn, play, worship, talk, be entertained, and be challenged.  They hold concerts, meditations & lectures. There is a beach and several restaurants in a beautifully historic setting (45 minutes)

New York State Land:  Plenty of trails for horses, mountain biking, hiking, picnic areas (3 miles)

Holiday Valley: Skiing, mountain biking, golfing
